Advanced Offshore Course

This complete 4-day, 3-night Advanced Offshore Course is specifically designed for those who want the experience of a true deepwater passage.

Discover the joys of independence from land, and master the skills of the long-distance sailor while living aboard. Includes: night watch keeping, night navigation, night landfalls and many other skills the coastal sailor does not always need.

Successful completion prepares you to:
• Skipper a 38′-40’ yacht in coastal & offshore waters.

Good to know:
•  Five-to-one student-to-instructor ratio (maximum)
• Includes all meals from lunch on day one, to lunch on day 4 – please let us know if you must observe any dietary restrictions.
• It is required that students taking this course meet both of the following criteria:  
   - Successfully complete the Sailing Charter Certification Course
   - Additional bareboat chartering experience as skipper in command
